WHY DID I GET MARRIED?
The other evening I watched Tyler Perry's movie. While the characters seemed to be extremely exaggerated, I thought it was very well written. After watching the commentary, I was even more impressed. I have always been told that "anything worth having or doing takes work." Marriage definitely falls into that category. Have you ever asked the question, Why did I get married?"
Our wedding anniversary is Sunday, and I can honestly say it is an interesting journey. Glad to still be on it, and looking forward to the next 50+ years.
I obviously did not know what I was getting into when I said yes, but for the most part I have no regrets. The reason I say for the most part (don't start none won't be none) in hind sight I would have liked to finish my education (school is definitely a lot easier to complete as a single person).
Share your thoughts. Why did you get married? This may help our single folk too.
